How to extract audio from a lecture recording
You recorded the lecture (or the meeting), and now you only want the soundtrack in your headphones. This walkthrough keeps it simple and lawful: work from a file you already own — never by pasting a streaming URL.
Start with a tidy file
Export or download the recording as MP4 when you can. Clear names (“lecture-03-marketing.mp4”) make life easier when your study folder fills up.
If the video still lives only on your phone, AirDrop or cable-transfer it first. Large files are happier on a laptop browser than on mobile data.
Extract in the browser
